President Bola Tinubu has appointed Mr. Abel Olumuyiwa Enitan as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HOCSF), effective August 27, 2026, replacing the retiring Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack.
Announced by Bayo Onanuga, this appointment highlights Enitan’s status as the most senior Permanent Secretary.
Born in 1966 and hailing from Osun State, he holds degrees in Finance/Banking and Public Policy Analysis.
A seasoned administrator, he has served as Permanent Secretary in key ministries, including Education, Police Affairs, and Humanitarian Affairs, as well as the Vice President’s office.
