Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umar Radda, has said that bandits operating in the state are “our brothers” and should not be completely written off if they are willing to abandon violence and embrace peace.
According to the governor, the doors of repentance and reintegration into society remain open for those who genuinely surrender their weapons and renounce criminal activities. He stressed that while security operations against violent groups will continue, the government is also ready to support peaceful solutions that can help restore stability in affected communities.
