The streets of Kano State became a sea of APC colours on Saturday, September 5th, 2026, as thousands of supporters converged for the Tinubu Support Group Rally, which organisers describe as one of the most impressive mobilisation efforts in the state’s political history.
Prince Ade Omole, Renewed Hope Advocate and Deputy Director of Diaspora Mobilisation I at the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), commended the turnout as clear evidence of the depth and reach of grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda across the North-West.
Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, Convener of TSG, Member of the House of Representatives for Ikeja Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Finance, was specially commended by Prince Omole, who credited his coordination and leadership for the scale and organisation of the event. According to Omole, the rally reflected months of grassroots engagement, and Hon Faleke’s ability to galvanise support across party structures stood out as a defining feature of the day.
Eyewitnesses described the venue as filled well beyond capacity, with supporters trooping in from across Kano and neighbouring states hours before the event began. Party faithful, youth groups, women’s wings, and traditional title holders were all represented, lending the rally a broad-based character that organisers say affirms the ruling party’s growing momentum ahead of forthcoming political engagements.
Omole further noted that the Kano rally sends a strong signal to the rest of the country: that the Renewed Hope movement continues to command genuine, organic support well beyond its traditional strongholds, and that leaders like Hon Faleke are instrumental in translating that support into visible, coordinated action on the ground.
