The Department of State Security, DSS, yesterday refuted claimed in th media that the security agency sealed Lagos State of Assembly complex.
In a press release available to National Press Newspaper, the security agency claimed that the Clerk of the Lagos State House of Assembly invited the security agency to save life and properties and maintain law and order the chamber.
According to the DSS, “it is our duty to maintain law and order, DSS are not politician and can never be politicized,” the statement affirmed.
In prove of invitation, the Department of State Security, DSS, tender letter of invitation signed by the Clerk of the Lagos State House of Assembly inviting the DSS to come and maintain law and order.
This however put to rest incinuation making round that Madam Speaker, Hon. Mojisola Meranda precided over the plenary at the law making chamber yesterday.
In another development, all Lagos State House of Assembly members yesterday affirmed their support and click behind the female Speaker, Hon. Mojisola Meranda as the Speaker of the Assembly.
