The Rivers State Administrator has called on the Nigeria Bar Association, NBA, to refund N300 million naira paid to the association for hosting rights of the NBA Conference which was moved to Enugu state.
Rivers State Administrator, Ibok-Ete Ibas responds to NBA for changing its Annual General Conference from Port Harcourt to Enugu, says NBA claims to stand on “principle”, but they haven’t returned the N300 million paid by the Rivers State Government for the hosting rights of the 2025 conference Ibas added that if the NBA truly stands on “principle”, it should promptly refund the N300 million rather than benefitting from a state it now publicly discredits.
