As PDP wins All 20 LG Election In Bauchi, Clerics Warns PDP Will Die If It Fields Atiku In 2027 Presidential Election .
In his prediction book made available to Press men, Primate Ayodele warned the main opposition party in Nigeria, PDP, not to field former vice President, Atiku Abubakar as her presidential flag bearer in 2027 as it portail danger.
It was a case of winners take all as the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) recorded victory in all the 20 local government areas in the polls held on Saturday, 17 August, 2024 in Bauchi State.
The Chairman of the Bauchi State Independent Electoral Commission (BASIEC), Alhaji Ahmed Makama, declared the results on the night of Saturday , 17 august, 2024.
Recall that prior to the election, the main opposition, the All Progressives Congress, (APC), had expressed concerns that the ruling PDP and BASIEC might manipulate the election results in favor of the PDP.
It is anticipated that the APC will not accept the results.
The Chairmen-elect are expected to be sworn in on Sunday, 18 August, 2024.
