As at the time of writing this story, impeached Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Honourable Mudashiru Obasa stormed Lagos State of Assembly this morning as Speaker with full security details restored.
Investigation by National Press Newspaper indicates that at the meeting ordered by President Tinubu which was headed by APC founding fathers in Lagos and Ogun State with some Governors Council, GAC, the highest decision making body in Lagos State, it was agreed at the meeting that Hon. MUDASHIRU Obasa should return as Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Sources close to the Lagos lawmakers complex indicates the security details of Madam Speaker has been withdrawn.
From all indications, Honourable Mudashiru Obasa is the new Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly.
The impeached Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, arrived at the Complex with heavy security operatives.
The embattled speaker came with more than 11 Police officers and headed straight to the Speaker’s Office amidst reports of the withdrawal of the new speaker’s security operatives.
Meanwhile, the security details of Mojisola Lasbat Meranda have been withdrawn but whether Madam Speaker has resigned or not is not clear. All efforts to reach both Speakers Press men proves abortive.
