Tinubu prayed in Abuja along Airport Road in Abuja to observe the Eid-el-Fitr prayers that marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

Tinubu, who arrived at minutes before 9am was received by top government officials, religious leaders, and other dignitaries.
Vice President Kashim Shettima, the Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, and the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, were among those who were at the prayer ground.

Vice President Kashim Shettima has welcomed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the National Eid ground along Airport Road, Abuja, for the Eid-el-Fitr prayer following the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Members of the Federal Executive Council, National Assembly members, and other government officials are in attendance to observe the prayer alongside the President and Vice President.
The president was received at the presidential wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) by Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos, and top government officials.
On April 7, Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesperson, said Tinubu would mark the end of Ramadan fasting in Lagos.
Ngelale said the president would “observe the moment in prayers for Nigeria and with family in deference to the solemn occasion, which marks the end of Ramadan”.
He added that the president would continue official duties during and after the Eid-el-Fitr holidays.
Eid-el-Fitri festival is celebrated by Muslims worldwide after observing Ramadan fasting for 29 or 30 days.
