Yesterday, 23rd March 2025, was a remarkable day as we flagged off the construction of the 125km Benin-Asaba Highway—a transformative project that will enhance connectivity and drive economic growth in Edo and Delta States.
This major infrastructure development, delivered through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP), reflects our commitment to practical governance and sustainable progress.
I sincerely thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for prioritizing Edo’s development, the Minister of Works, Engr. Dave Umahi, for his support, and the Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, for ensuring financial readiness for the project.
My appreciation also goes to Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori (represented by his Deputy, Chief Monday John Onyeme), and all dignitaries who joined us.
