Senate President Godswill Akpabio has claimed that he slept inside the Dangote Cement factory in Obajana Kogi State on the wedding day of the Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.

Akpabio described Natasha’s husband as his good friend, stressing that his attendance at their wedding signifies his closeness to the family.

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, has been suspended from all legislative activities for six months.
The Senate had earlier proposed a six-month suspension for Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan following a probe by the Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Code of Conduct.
The investigation concluded that she had “totally violated” Senate regulations.
However, upon suspending her, she said, “This injustice would not be sustained.”
