The programme started by 10.00 a.m with recitation of Nigeria national anthem. then Markaz national anthem.
Opening prayer was said by Dr. Isa Ahmed, Ag. Provost of the school. Provost then handed speaker over to Dr. Nurudeen Ibrahim, Director, Academic Planning, Murkas University College, Agege, Lagos as Master of event.
Dr. Nurudeen introduced the gathering to the Fadeelatu Sheikjh Muhammed Habeebullah Adam Abdullah El-Ilory (Mudeerul-Markaz). He also introduced Professor Isiak Oloyede, Registrar, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, to the public which was greeted with emotion and shout.
After the introduction of the guests, the poccession was taken by matriculating students lead by Mallam Sayuti, Abdulateef, Registrar, Murkas University College. While the posession was on going, every guest stood till all students took the posession.
Oath was taken by all students lead by Dr. Isa Ahmed, Acting Provost Murkas University College, Agege, Lagos.
Other guests at the event are, Professor Wahab Egbewole, Professor Maufus Adedimeji Mauduz, Adisa Enbiti, Pro Chancellor, Summit University, Professor Hamsat Abdul Raheem Isola, Pro Chancellor, Markaz.
Also present are representatives of Kwara State Governor, Abdul Rasak, able represented by Dr. Muhammad Awwal Ibrahim Olorungbebe, SSA to Kwara Stage Governor, Professor Awwaal Ibrahim, Pro Vice Chancellor, Summit University with his wife.
After speach by Professor Isiak Oloyede, Registrar, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, who advised student to face their studies, abide by school rules and regulatons, Oloyede also advise students not to think that running a school is a profit making business but rather a service to humanity.
Professor Wahab Egbewole advised students that matriculation is a form of admission into university, it expose student to leadership of the school therefore advised student to encourage excellence, commit to learning, be a good ambassador of the institution.
Professor Maufus Adedimeji Mauduz told the gathering that Alumni are teh backbone of the schools everywhere in the world. He therefore advised those that passed out of Markaz not to forget the school but contributes to the growth of the school.
Professor Hamsat Abdulraheem Ishore told the gathering how Markaz got affiliation to University of Ilorin and approval from National University Commission, NUC, with the cooperation and help from Professor Isiak Oloyede.
Delivering the Kwara State governor address at the school, Dr. Mihammed Awwal Ibrahim Olorungbebe,SSA to Kwara State Governor said “Kwara State governor was happy to associate the state to Markaz based on the way the school distinguished itself from others. Markaz lead in promoting Islamic education in Nigeria, flourish, empowering young scholars promote development in Nigeria.”
The governor however congratulate students, Fadeelatu Sheikh Muhammad Habeebullah Adam Abdullah El-lory, staff and students of the school on the achievements and impacts Markaz made in Islamic education in Nigeria.
Professor Isiak Oloyede riased fund for the school where donations were made in physical and cash. Among donor are Professor Awal Ibrahim, pro vice Chancellor Summit University and his wife who donated a whopping sum of N20 million, promised to pay school fees all students in the institution. His wife who had earlier bought land close to Markaz promised to build the land.
