How can you describe the Outdoor Advertising sector in Nigeria and what areas should be improved on?
Outdoor advertising is a fast developing sector with a huge potential to contribute enormously to the Nigerian economy, as shown by the increasing interest by major international players in tapping into it. Challenges, however, need to be addressed. There is increasing number of billboards everywhere, but the sector is still stagnant and lacks innovation, the right power infrastructure and financing options.
What does the current state of the economy mean to Stenturion Project Service and the branding efforts in maintaining business growth?
Nigeria’s economy is back on a growing path and Nigerians no longer expect things to be any different from what they have seen everywhere else in the world. When something goes wrong or a project fails, I think of the many successful men and women that have failed many times before they got it right. We have heard many times that we all have to fail before we succeed; so I tell myself that
if I’m failing, I’m getting closer to succeeding.
How can you describe the challenges of marketing as it relates to the female gender?
Female executives have always been subject to prejudice in almost every area of industry. But marketing has been often socially associated to women and it seems people tend to be more receptive to us women when selling our products and services.
How can you rate female managers?
Female managers are known to be more attentive to detail and to take every part of the organization into account when taking a decision, thus, making organizations more efficient and sustainable in the long run.
